Chandeliers Belvoirpark
Glistening rhythm of a room

The renowned Belvoirpark School of Hotel Management opened its new academic building in Zurich at the beginning of October 2014. Around 4,400 hollow glass stones moulded by hand have since catered for a festive atmosphere in the halls and restaurant.

Working closely together with the architect and lighting designer resulted in 44 large-sized chandeliers as well as 16 wall lamps. The additive formation of the three types of chandelier, deliberately designed as modest individual objects, surprises by adding a rhythm to the rooms. Pluggable flat steel profiles form the support structure and the brilliance and diffusion of fusion edges and the air pockets of the hollow glass stones break up its strict geometry.
